And Happy New Year!

After Christmas, we had a few days to relax before heading to Richmond for the big New Year's Eve party. Our wonderful neighbors, the Tumlins, came over to visit and help us eat leftovers. The kids had a ball with Gunnar's new dress-up collection, courtesy of Patty, Rooty, and the Hamiltons. Here's Jack, the ferocious lion.

On our way to Richmond, we stopped in Raleigh to see Lindsay and Baby Vanessa, who really is not a baby anymore.

And off to the big party. Gunnar was decked out in his racecar sweater vest and bowtie. Adorable!!

He LOVED the inflatable slide, and we loved the fact that the ball dropped at 8pm.
We tried to squeeze everyone into the photo booth for a family picture, but Nan was MIA, and Gunnar was falling off the chair. So, here's round 2 in the booth with just Erik, the boys, and me.
