We celebrated this past weekend with an awesome Carolina-style backyard barbeque! Erik put his early Father's Day gift into action - the Big Green Egg - and started cooking the pork Friday night. By Saturday evening, it was nothing short of perfection. Add to that homemade sauces, real mac and cheese, baked beans courtesy of Joslyn, greens, slaw, and of course, banana pudding. And I kept my tradition of making a fun cake - this time it was an extremely cute Mickey Mouse. We were lucky to be joined by lots of Levi's friends - Hagen Tams, Mindy Kubeck, Kasch, Ava & Mae Eisenhauer, and Liam & Camryn Brennan. Thank you to Hagen's grandma, Gail, for being the official party photographer!
Good times!! And the house still smells like North Carolina. mmmm...
